Pumped Screeds
Pumped liquid screeds are a fast and cost-effective way of installing smooth, level and hard-wearing layers as part of an internal flooring system. Available for new build as well as refurbishment or repair projects, modern self-compacting cementitious and polymer modified screeds can be laid as an underlayment layer or an industrial top and can be overlaid on existing concrete, screeds, tiles, or even wooden flooring subject to design parameters.
Seamless Service Provision
Pumped screeds can also be specified for renovation purposes where existing substrates have deteriorated because their design life has been exceeded, or they have suffered from damage. Damage could be caused a combination of problems including impacts or overloading, moisture ingress, or poor installation discipline.
Specialist fibre reinforced self-levelling compounds can be designed and used in both commercial and domestic settings to offer increased resistance to heavy loads and accommodate subsequent flooring finishes. With quicker drying times, pumped screeds can offer advantages over traditional sand and cement screeds to reduce the time taken to install, and to allow follow-on trades earlier access to areas.
